6.5 Grendel Brass
6.5 Grendel Brass is an excellent choice for reloading your ammunition. This brass is unprimed and ready to load with your favorite powder and bullet combination. With time and patience, you can reload your ammunition for a fraction of the 6mm Grendel cost of factory ammunition.
This brass is also great for forming your wildcat cartridges. With creativity, you can create your special ammunition that will perform exactly how you want it to. If you wish to save money or have fun, reloading your shot is a great way to do it.
What Brass is used for 6.5 Grendel?
When I got into the 6mm Grendel, I was very low on brass, so a friend gave me some 7.62×39 which I fire-formed. I used a minimum load of Winchester 748 and 120 grain Pro-Hunter bullets in one batch. I also shot some brass using Sierra 100-grain varmints with a minimal charge of H-335.
What is 6.5 Grendel best for?
The 6.5 Grendel also works as a medium-range cartridge for bolt action rifles. However, it is better suited to semi-automatic rifles. The 6.5 Grendel is designed for a round with a longer valid range than the 5.56mm but is not as heavy as a . 308 or as specialized as a 6.5 Creedmoor.
